First, overall I love these leggings. I have now purchased 3 pairs and think they are very flattering. The only way I could see these not being flattering on someone is if you have underdeveloped glutes, as it does take at least a little bit of cheek to prevent the fabric from being too loose in the butt area. Otherwise, the waistband is wonderful and compressive, but not tight. I know one complaint people have is that the thigh area is tight, but I don’t find that to be bothersome. Maybe as my quads continue to grow, but right now it is just compressive but not overly so. That being said, if there is anything that is preventing me from trying these in a size down it would be the thighs. My only complaint is they DO give a very slight camel toe if you are trying to go commando. It isn’t major and a sturdy thong (the soft, seamless, no-show ones don’t work to prevent it) takes care of the problem, but for someone who typically goes commando as a general rule, having to wear something underneath is irritating and it is the only thing keeping me from buying them in every color they can throw at me. I think it has to do with the fact that they wedge so far into your glutes (which is great in my opinion). If I shimmy the material of my other favorite leggings to get the same effect to that degree, they too give that same, slight camel toe effect. If they could find a way to keep the glute wedge the same but get rid of whatever is pulling it up in the crotch area it would be amazing! Overall, these are definitely in my top favorites for leggings and I’m going to go on the hunt for the perfect thong to be comfortable while getting rid of the problem in the crotch area. I purchased all of my leggings in a size Small. If you have similar stats but smaller thighs I would probably try an XS. Height: 5’6 Weight: 133lbs Waist: 30” Hip/Glute: 37” Thigh: 21.5”
